Carine Senior High School offers a range of information session for parents to attend on school grounds.

When we have approval by the Department to commence information sessions for parents we will update the website below.

Study Hacks Parent Session

Study Hacks is our whole school study skills program. Years 7 to 12 students receive a book in Year 7 (or when they are a new student) and use this throughout their time at Carine SHS. They also participate in session/s delivered by Study Hacks author Dr Jane Genovese throughout the year, as well as mini lessons covered by their teachers. Key areas discussed by Jane at the parent session include:

1. Helping your child better manage technology
2. Study strategies for deep learning
3. Getting organised
4. Vitamin Z: The importance of restorative sleep
