Aims of Library Resource Centre
To provide up to date and relevant information, resources and technology to support the educational objectives of the school, and to provide stimulating recreational material for staff and students.
The library provides a welcoming atmosphere which encourages the use of a variety of resources.
There is a bank of computers for educational use during class time, but access is also available before and after school, and at lunch time.
There is also an extensive and supportive non fiction collection, and the library provides both current and classic literature. We actively promote reading and have a leisure reading area which is surrounded by our fiction collection, current magazines, newspapers and picture books. There are beanbags and arm chairs, and students can even sit on the rug if they are more comfortable.
The library is open from 8.00 to 3.30, closing only at recess.
