Certificate II/III Information, Digital Media and Technology

This qualification provides you with the foundation skills and knowledge to use information and communications technology (ICT) in any industry. Skills learned will enable you to operate a computer and use software applications. You will also learn about PC hardware, network administration, digital media manipulation, occupational health and safety, effective communication skills, website design, problem solving skills, as well as an understanding of the various employment fields in information technology. The course will be completed over two years. Successful completion of these units will lead to a nationally recognised, industry based qualification. This qualification provides basic digital literacy skills to support a wide range of varying industry occupations.
